CheerpJ is free to use for any non-commercial purposes, as well as for technical evaluation. Any use of CheerpJ for commercial purposes will require a license.
CheerpJ is available in three editions: a Community edition, available to everyone, an Indie edition, allowing commercial uses to individual developers and small businesses, and an Enterprise edition.

Indie edition
We offer a special commercial, royalty-free license for individual developers and small businesses. Please contact us at sales@leaningtech.com to verify if your company qualifies for an Indie license.
With an Indie license, you will be able to develop applications for any commercial purpose with no restrictions. Access to the CheerpJ runtime is provided by Leaning Technologies with no bandwidth limitations. In addition to community support, you will receive commercial support from the CheerpJ developers.
CheerpJ Indie edition is provided on a subscription basis, and is priced per developer per month (monthly and discounted yearly committments). A valid subscription includes updates to the CheerpJ AOT compiler as well as to the CheerpJ runtime components. Reduced pricing options in exchange for royalties are available, please contact our sales team at sales@leaningtech.com to discuss.
